Asim Jofa’s Maroon Floral-Damask Ensemble captures the echoes of balochi dooch as reflected by the captivating Iqra Aziz, translating tradition into a contemporary language of elegance. A canvas of black lawn silk becomes a storyteller, where maroon floral-damask pattern embroidery, adorned with sequins like distant echoes, revives tales of yore. The ensemble weaves its narrative through an embroidered shirt like the heart’s yearning that echo like distant memories while the dupatta speaks of ancient motifs. The trouser completes this modern ode to antiquity.
